Program for Teenagers

Main goals of the Spanish teen programs:

• Learning Spanish in a friendly and healthy multicultural environment
• Helping students to practice their newly acquired language skills through field trips
• Experiencing the culture and traditions of a great historical city through supervised excursions and cultural activities
• Studying and playing fun games while discovering a new culture
• Meeting local and international people and making new friends
• Cultural exchange through “intercambios” – meeting local teenagers who wish to practice their English in exchange for practicing Spanish with the students
• Optional volunteer work with local orphans

We offer 3 options for our summer classes in Oaxaca:

Program for families

If you are coming to Oaxaca with your children, we have now a special program for the whole family. Children from 6 to 12 years of age have the opportunity to learn Spanish through entertaining, lively and educative activities using the method of Total Physical Response. While the children are having fun studying with our experienced and skilled teachers, the parents can take classes appropriate for their language level or just enjoy their time in Oaxaca on their own.

This package, especially designed for children, offers 3 hours of Spanish daily, various workshops and fun activities. The classes are held from 9 am till 12 pm. The first 90 minutes module includes Spanish conversation, grammar in action, Mexican games and songs. During the second part of the class the children visit Oaxacan markets and famous Oaxacan artisans. Thanks to the Total Physical Response method, children learn vocabulary quickly and easily while putting what they have learned immediately into practice.

Next to the school there is a lovely new park for children up to 12 years where they can safely play and encounter Mexican children. There are also fun workshops and field trips that will help the little students to practice newly acquired language skills while playing and having fun.

Program for seniors

We have a special offer for senior citizens of 60 years and older. We are happy to offer 20 % discount on course fees and no registration fee for stays of 4 weeks and longer.

This program offers 3 hours of Spanish classes per day, 2 Mexican cooking classes per month and various cultural activities. We can offer educative and enriching walking tours within Oaxaca and 2 specialized cultural field trips to the indigenous markets and excellent artisans in the surrounding villages.

You can choose to stay with a Mexican family or in a self-catering apartment. If you wish to stay in an apartment, do not hesitate to contact us and we will inform you about the current prices.
